Extra memberships can be purchased at the reduced rate of €45 per person

*We need four names and email addresses to allow log-ins to access members only material, journal access, and discounts on professional development courses, events, books and study materials.

To give you and your team more flexibility, these memberships are transferable for events: so, any four employees can attend EALTHY events at members’ rates.

Associate Membership is for organisations who want to share their professional expertise and resources with the EALTHY members.

Associate Members may provide resources, access to research, sponsoring professional development events, exhibiting at the English for Healthcare conference, and offering discounted products and services.

Associate members can use the EALTHY logo on their website and on any products and services that have been approved by the EALTHY Board. Associate members are listed on the EALTHY website with links to their online pages.

The primary objectives of the Department of Languages for Biomedical Purposes and Communication (LBPC) of the University of Pécs Medical School focus upon education and research in the various fields of LBPC.

The scientific activities of the research groups range from the study of biomedical genre, discourse and conversation analysis, through LSP methodology, testing and translation to the sociolinguistic and intercultural aspects of doctor-patient communication.

Education activities focus on the teaching of medical and healthcare English, German, Hungarian, as well as terminology.

The department also functions as the Center of the Professional Exams (PROFEX).
