Description
For the last three years, freelance trainer Peter Holly has been working as a simulated patient for students in a variety of healthcare fields at the University of Pécs, Hungary. Over 50 minutes, you’ll have the chance to learn about the role of the simulated patient in the training of clinical communications skills. Peter will explain what happens behind the scenes and the different guises and personas he has to play. He’ll talk us through the challenges of working with learners of different levels and from different healthcare disciplines, as well as how to deliver effective feedback. This session will appeal to anyone working in academia as well as those training candidates for OSCEs and OET.
